The 83rd Annual Academy Awards are the Superbowl for fashion lovers. This year the Oscar’s red carpet did not disappoint, with lovely numbers from Valentino, Gucci, Marchesa, Rodarte and Givenchy, there was an abundance of good taste. And let’s talk about Anne Hathaway. We could literally dedicate an entire post to her gowns alone. Kudos to Rachel Zoe on the styling! Especially impressive were the modern gowns worn by Gwyneth Paltrow and Cate Blanchett, goodbye to the dresses we’ve seen a thousand times! Here are some of our favorites from the red carpet:

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse Premiere Photos

Thursday, June 24th the stars of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse walked the black carpet (yes, it was not red) at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles. Robert Pattinson in a wine coloured suit and Taylor Lautner had girls lining up for days to get a glimpse of the studly actors. Kristen Stewart, possibly the luckiest girl on the planet, wore an Elie Saab white dress that looked absolutely stunning. Not so cute, Nikki Reed, in something that looked like a figure skating costume. My fave is Ashley Green looking like a goddess with her long blonde hair (a big difference from her pixie look on screen). Biggest gag moment on the carpet? Kellan Lutz and girlfriend AnneLynne McCord and their over affectionate PDA.
