It is Grammy weekend in Los Angeles and the stars are out in full force. If you weren’t at The Recording Academy & Clive Davis Annual Pre-Grammy Gala last night, you were not important. The who’s who of music and celebrity got together at the Beverly Hilton hotel to pay honor to the icons. Having fun at the bash was Rihanna, Katy Perry and her fiance Russell Brand, Taylor Swift, Jonas Brothers, Carrie Underwood, Sheryl Crow, Fergie, Jay-Z, Jamie Foxx, Ke$ha, Jennifer Hudson, Mary J. Blige, Keri Hilson, The Ting Tings and Chace Crawford. I couldn’t help but laugh when I saw Russell Brand trying to make Rhianna and Katy laugh with … well, boner jokes. And worst of all was Kevin Jonas and his new wife kissing on the red carpet… how awkward was that kiss???

The industry lost a fantastic and absolutely lovable actress this week, Brittney Murphy, who died after going into cardiac arrest at her home Sunday morning. Here are some photos at the last events Brittney appeared at this month. The actress appears very thin, pale and almost fragile.
