Last night’s awards were a true success for the music industry. With one extremely entertaining performance after another were was no taking your eyes off the screen. The 2009 American Music Awards opened with an 8 minute performance by Janet Jackson, where she took us back to some of her biggest hits. Rihanna returned to the stage as well others we have not seen in a while like Timbaland and J-Lo, who had a little slip up and fell down during her dance number.
The most talked about performances came down to Lady Gaga and Adam Lambert. Gaga wowed us all when she sat down to play a piano that was completely on fire and Lambert tried to shock us with a whole lot of sexuality on stage.
