Maxim Magazine celebrated their December issue with their cover girl Ashley Greene (of Twilight fame) in New York last night. Also in attendance were some hotties who seemed as if they were there for a chance at meeting (hookin up with) the gorgeous Ashley Greene, like Colin Egglesfield, Shaun Sipos and Jason Derulo. The best part of the event was that Freddy Fackelmayer (if you watch The City you know exactly who I am talking about) was there! Last night’s awards were a true success for the music industry. With one extremely entertaining performance after another were was no taking your eyes off the screen. The 2009 American Music Awards opened with an 8 minute performance by Janet Jackson, where she took us back to some of her biggest hits. Rihanna returned to the stage as well others we have not seen in a while like Timbaland and J-Lo, who had a little slip up and fell down during her dance number. The most talked about performances came down to Lady Gaga and Adam Lambert. Gaga wowed us all when she sat down to play a piano that was completely on fire and Lambert tried to shock us with a whole lot of sexuality on stage. The stars showed up last night in New York for Victoria’s Secret annual fashion show. Heidi Klum hosted the show, just months after having a baby! She looked great and so did models, Miranda Kerr, Alessandra Ambrosio, Marisa Miller, Chanel Iman and a whole host of beautiful women in sexy lingerie. Fergie, fresh off a hot infidelity scandal, performed in a sexy green gown. In the front row: Jay-Z, Dr. Dre, Keri Hilson, Kings of Leon, Harvey Weinstein, Michelle Trachtenberg, Matthew Settle, Christian Siriano, just to name a few. The show airs Tuesday, December 1st!
The cast of New Moon (Taylor Lautner, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Nikki Reed, Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz) continued their promotional tour at a Big Apple screening hosted by The Cinema Society and D&G. The New York was not as fan crazy as the Los Angeles premiere on Monday night — this low-key event attracted only about 100 fans who stood patiently in the drizzling rain on Houston Street at the Landmark Sunshine Cinema. The super hot and famous New Moon cast was out in California last night to premiere their newest film from The Twilight Saga. The actors arrived one by one and everytime the screams got louder and louder. Kristen Stewart was the last to arrive and probably the most anticipated, as everyone was dieing to see what she was going to wear. She shyly posed for cameras as she always does and glided down the carpet in an Oscar de la Renta gown, which is not something we would expect from Kristen. Her make-up was flawless!!!! But, I am not too sure about the hair, something about black hair and brown roots doesn’t work for me… a colour touch up was needed. Also turning heads on the red carpet was the smouldering Ashley Greene in a red Prabal Gurung gown and ever so beautiful Dakota fanning in Valentino. The boys showed off their bods in fitted suits with some opting to wear ties and others not. I loved the blue suit on Taylor Lautner, it made him stand out while keeping that young vibe… sometimes suits can make you look old! The ultimate disaster on the red carpet had to have been Stephanie Meyer, who looked like she was dressed up for a costume party. Jessica Biel looked like she aged 30 years at the Prada Book Launch Cocktail in Beverly Hills on Friday. The messy hair, tired eyes, pale sickly skin, Madonna arms and poor outfit choice has me worrying about the girl! Sometimes at certain parties or events celebrities feel as though they can push the fashion envelope and wear things that would normally land them on the worst dressed list, last night was no exception. Although the following list of names are known for thier quirky style there is no excuse for what walked down the red carpet in Los Angeles at MOCA. Gwen Stefani, Chloe Sevigny, Christina Ricci, Eva Mendes, Jessica Alba, Marisa Tomei, Rose McGowan, Ciara, Sandra Oh and Zoe Saldana all looked pretty horendous. The only exceptions were Kate Beckinsale and Kate Bosworth, who didn’t use the art exhibition opening to try something “daring” with their wardrobe. It is sad to see such beautiful and talented women be eaten alive by their atrocous outfits. Were they all trying out outdress Lady Gaga? Blake Lively probably caught a cold Sunday evening at the Cinema Society’s screening of “The Private Lives Of Pippa Lee”. Not sure if shorts were the appropriate choice to go along with this busty blazer that reminds me of a wedding cake. A pant would have probably been a better choice, less is always more! And really, Blake’s breasts are the main focus on every episode of Gossip Girl, and the only reason my boyfriend watches the show with me, do we really need to see them all the time
Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner posed for pictures at “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” photocall at Four Seasons Hotel on November 3, in Mexico City, Mexico. Kristen sported some cropped distressed jeans, suspenders and a tuxedo jacket while Taylor opted for a grey leather jacket. I think Taylor’s outfit is fab but I think Kristen’s stylist went a little too overboard with her outfit. But, Kristen is already a bit quirky so her fashion sense is allowed to reflect that as well.
